A rose for emily
Emily is a person who was born during the civil war and she lived with her father who has very strict rules. therefore she could not develop her relationship with other people. for example when her father died she said them her father was not dead, because her father put a very important part in her life and losting him is a catastrophe in her life. when he died she started to manage her life herself. Moreover, her family is very rich and they saw themselves superior than others so it affected her attitudes too.

So in what ways did these attitudes inform or direct her behaviour in the story? Apart from a lack of relationships with other people, did her relationship with her father affect her in any other way do you think?
